Agenda Rules

The 17-year old Santa Crawl

was originally started by a mixture of St. John's students and members of Theta Chi fraternity (HK chapter, JMU). The crawl first took place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It prospered there for a number of years (the exact number is unknown, but probably less than 9) until a brawl occurred. Everyone knows who started it, but for secrecy's sake we will again use the fictional name of John Padgett.

A number of Santas were chased

down a street, out of the City of Brotherly Love (and a sorry, no-account Football team) by Cops on horseback (armed with clubs). The miscommunication apparently started over an attempted Elf-recruitment ceremony. Twas a lovely, memorable event. . .

The Crawl rose again,

like the Phoenix of old, in the lovely city of Baltimore (Charm City). For at least 5 years, the Head Santas (Jimmy and Guy) led groups of 20-30 men on expeditions of only the most seditious nature. Our Santas, armed with candy canes, Carol sheets, and silly, stupid grins, marched across Baltimore and into the hearts of tourists, children, drunkards, and chicks. Of course, all of this was documented in pictures in the Baltimore Sun and photos in Hooters.

Bringing us to the Present

Day, during the greatest economic expansion in history, typified by the prolific use of the letters "e" and ".com" and the words "New," "Economy," and "Florida." Despite these technological and sociological changes, the Santa Crawl remains the same - True to its Founding Values and Code of Ethics, those who carry on this tradition shall be memorialized in some bar in Fels Point.
